kids                 adult                 edgy

Kameron started doing magic at the age of 14 helping demonstrate magic at his dad’s magic shop. They started at the local mall in a kiosk selling pranks and magic tricks for the holidays. As the shop grew and magic shows became a normal part of the stores operations, Kameron began performing for children’s birthday parties. His dad, also a working magician, started to get more shows then he could handle, so they were passed onto Kameron. A few years after starting magic, Kameron picked up fire eating and immediately added it to his repertoire. After mastering fire eating, Kameron gained a greater interest in sideshow stunts - things that looked like magic, but were very real. In addition to children shows, Kameron offers more “edgy” performances for teens and adults with stunts such as setting a real mousetrap off on his hand and tongue, walking over 100 broken bottles with his bare feet and pounding a real 4 inch nail into his face! Kameron also started teaching magic lessons on a regular basis and offers lessons for basic animal balloons, juggling and even fire eating! Years later, Kameron has done countless kids shows along with corporate parties, banquets, comedy shows and grand openings. If you need Balloon animals and card tricks or fire eating and glass walking, Kameron offers amazing magical entertainment!

F.A.Q.

Q.

You don’t smile much. Do you even enjoy performing?
A.

I’d rather be doing this as a job than anything else in the world. It’s the best feeling in the world to get up and make people laugh and smile. I’ve heard another performer say that if everyone knew the feeling you get performing, everyone would be doing it. I often laugh and smile during my show, but my persona on stage is sometimes “serious looking while being funny”. For example, in a kids show I often do things deadpan, yet completely silly, because the contrast to me is funnier. If you watch the videos you’ll see the kids laughing and smiling. And if you can’t tell, believe me when I say that I’m having the time of my life.
Q.

You have picture of you playing with fire. Do you do this in front of children? Isn’t that dangerous?
A.

I’ve been performing fire eating and control for over 10 years and the whole time I have performed it in front of kids. Not once in the decade and hundreds of times I’ve stuck fire in my mouth has a mother called me saying their child has: made a torch, dipped it into fuel, and tried to put it out in their mouth. I’ve never heard of a child even PLAYING with fire because they saw me do it at their birthday. Honestly I think that children either know that I’m an adult and can do something they can’t (driving a car, cooking, pouring milk) or they think it’s a trick (Fake fire, something in my mouth making it safe etc.) Most adults can keep an eye on their child well enough that they don’t play with fire. I ALWAYS stress the importance of “not trying this at home”. It is ALWAYS the favorite part of the show, but if you are still uncomfortable with It, I will not perform it.
Q.

You have a lot of “creepy” things on your site (Mousetraps, Nails in your nose, glass walking) Are you sure you are a kids performer?
A.

Absolutely! I started with kids and will probably always do children’s shows. I love doing them, but I’ve also started to love performing for adults . My “edgy” magic started relatively recently, but I’ve always had an interest in the more bizarre effects. Honestly, they are fairly tame looking. I’ve done the sideshow stunts along with bizarre magic in front of older children and the parents didn’t blink. It wasn’t inappropriate, or gross, in fact they enjoyed it. Obviously I don’t do it in front of 6 year olds, but 13 year olds don’t want to see a bunny out of the hat when they see Criss Angel get run over by a steam roller. They want to see fire and glass and nails, and they are old enough to know to NOT do these themselves. If you think your child wants to replicate the things I perform, talk to them about it. If you think they are interested TOO much, I can also teach them how to do it SAFELY. My 13 year old brother has done glass walking at his schools talent show with tremendous success.
Q.

You do kids shows. Are you sure you’re an adult performer?
A.

Absolutely! My kid’s shows are totally different from my “normal” show, or my “bizarre magic and sideshow”. They stay separate. Don’t worry, I’m not going to stick a nail in my face at your 6 year olds birthday and I’m not going to pull a bunny out of my hat at a bar show, and I’m not going to walk on glass at your corporate Christmas party! I keep everything age and situation appropriate. If you want it weird I’ll give you weird, if you want it more traditional I’ll give you that. I make sure to go over what kind of show you are looking for when you contact me.
Q.

You don’t seem to have a lot of shows. What experience do you have doing magic?
A.

I’ve been doing magic for over a decade. I worked in a magic shop for much of that time, as well as read books and performed magic shows and demonstrations. I have not kept the best track of my shows and lessons because I never thought I would have to. You could double the lessons on my page and probably quadruple the shows and still not equal my experience. The shows and lessons on my calendar page are what I could gather from past calendars. Believe me when I say my shows have been countless, and not just because I can’t count very high…
Q.

You are located in Montana, how far are you willing to travel?
A.

I’ll go as far as you’ll pay me. Seriously, I will travel anywhere to do a show, but travel can be expensive. There are fees needed to make the trip worth it. I am willing to work with anyone, but if it is a significant distance there are travel fees, hotel accommodations, food, and of course the show. As much as I love traveling and performing I can’t afford to travel and perform at my own expense. Please don’t hesitate to call or e-mail for a quote though. I am very reasonable!
Q.

What’s with your hair? Do you wash it? Can you take it out? Do you do drugs?
A.

The hair style is called dreadlocks. It is basically knotted hair held together in locks. There are many ways to accomplish it such as chemicals, neglect and “back combing” similar to teasing hair into a beehive. I wash my hair with special shampoo that doesn’t have residues or weird chemicals. It’s a hairstyle I’ve had a long time and grown to love the difference it makes. You can’t take it out without destroying it. You can sometimes get some of it untangled with lots of work and conditioners. You don’t have to shave your head when you want to get rid of it because much of the hair at the roots cannot dread. And, no I don’t do drugs. I haven’t even ever smoked a cigarette.
Q.

Is that sideshow stuff real? Or tricks like magic?
A.

Some of the things you see me do have a secret or gimmick or method that makes it possible. Others are stunts that you just “do”, such as Fire eating, human blockhead, and walking on glass. These are real stunts I learned to do and there is a method, but not really a secret. Just be careful and man up and do it. There is actually science behind a lot of it and quite interesting once you learn.
Q.

I am (the member of a church, a den leader, a library etc) can you do a free show for me? It’ll get you exposure for more shows!
A.

I rarely do free shows because they often only lead to more free shows. I am not opposed to doing a free show, but I often can’t afford it. You can always try, but I might not have the time! Also, you’re a library?
